Pennsylvania and Delaware County implemented entirely new voting process beginning with the 2020 election cycle. This new process includes the option to vote by US Mail or voting at the polls on election day using the NEW VOTING MACHINES. Regardless which method you prefer you must first be registered to vote!
Below we’ve provided some convenient links to help you through getting registered using an online application and applying online to have a absentee or no excuse mail-in ballot send to your mailbox.
What You Will Experience On Election Day
Delaware County voters will be using the Hart Verity 2.3.4 Voting System beginning in the 2020 election cycle.
The system, certified by the PA Department of State, meets the Governor’s mandate for a verifiable paper trail. It includes plain text which voters can read to verify their vote before casting their ballot.
NOTE: The 2020 election cycle was quite an experience. Rife with special exceptions to the process related to COVID-19, staffing issues and generally poor management and frankly, incompetence by the newly appointed Delaware County Board of Elections. We EXPECT these issues to be addressed and corrected before the next election.
